Stayed here the weekend with friends. Great location, staff really helpful and friendly,nothings too much for them. Rooms large,fab bathrooms plenty of space and aircon. Food is also good with a large variety at the buffet both evening meal and breakfast, bar prices not bad for London. Definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel has seriously improved over the last year, credit to the staff who have made that possible The hotel is in an excellent location 5-10 minutes from the canary wharf Estate. I use the hotel often when working in my office there. Improvements over the last year have been in room facilities (all rooms now seem to have a high quality fan), check-in times, food and room service is quick and high quality, WiFi is now free!! (Used to be £7/day). Front desk is always presented professionally and are very polite. Sometimes they will upgrade my room at no extra cost. Thanks for the improvements to this hotel, it hasn't gone un-noticed!
Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights this week as part of a Caledonian package with breakfast and evening meal included. I was a little scared about staying here due to the previous reviews but when we arrived I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The furniture could do with an update and the hair dryer was a little annoying with having to hold the button in while using it, but apart from these minor things the room was great. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and were prompt in providing us with anything we needed. We didn't eat our evening meal at the hotel during our stay as we wanted to enjoy some food places in London so I can't comment on that, but the breakfast was pretty good. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for a cheap and convenient stay in London!
We had an amazing weekend stay in Britannia Int Hotel. I can't give enough credit to Ivet at reception who went above and beyond to make sure we are given the best room with river view and explained how everything works in detail. She was exceptional! If you are reading this - благодаря <3 Breakfast was nice - choice of pastries, fruits, yogurts and cooked food. The hotel is in an amazing location close to all major transport and tourist attractions. Would definitely recommend!
A classic hotel which feels old but still in good condition. The rooms are clean and comfortable with great views over Canary Wharf and the River Thames. For the area, within walking distance of the Heron Quays DLR station and Uber Boat Canary Wharf pier, Britannia International hotel can offer good value for money. Myself, I paid £69 for a double room which was upgraded to a suite room (worth approximately £165) on arrival via Booking.com. I experienced one significant issue during my stay the hotel. I ran a hot bath with let off a lot of steam, apparently triggering the fire alarm which alerted security to my room to investigate. I only heard the alarm when they entered my room. I was told to make sure the bathroom door is kept closed in future to ensure the alarm is not accidentally triggered again. So there seems to be some issues here. The bathroom didn't have any kind of fan or ventilation like there is in most bathrooms, which probably contributed to the incident.
Room is clean and spacious . I enjoyed my warm bath. Comfortable bed and pillows with clean sheets and adequate adjustable lighting . I arrived late and left early morning just literally there to rest my back and sleep. Stair case and reception area looks amazing . Easy to locate from Canary Wharf station literally in front of Novotel. Good walking distance.
Lovely hotel, great location, stayed 2 nights but just a bit disappointed that the room didn't get cleaned, came back on the second day expecting the bed to be made but no one had been to clean. Also it's annoying that it's cashless, I prefer to spend cash rather than using my card or at least have a choice. Having said that I would stay again. Staff are nice and the food was fine
Just had a lovely 3 nights here. Great value for the money and Canary Wharf was a joy to explore. River view from the room which was clean, bed very comfy and so peaceful. Staff are friendly and food including breakfast was very good. Beautiful hotel. Only negatives were the room key had to be reset every night and no room clean at all. I would expect at least once over 3 days.
